Assembly
Sew Heads to Bodies.
Center and sew each pink Cat to each black square and each black cat to each pink square.
Alternating squares sew Squares together in 4 rows of 3 Squares each.  Sew rows together.
Edging
Rnd 1: Working around outer edge, join black with sl st in center sc in sc group at any corner, ch 2 (see pattern notes) , 2 hdc in same st, hdc in each st around with 3 hdc in each center corner st, join (see pattern notes) in 2nd ch of beg ch-2, do not turn.  Fasten off.
Rnd 2:  Join pink in center st at any corner, ch 2, 2 hdc in same st, hdc in each st around with 3 hdc in each corner st, join in 2nd ch of beg ch-2.
Side Border
Row 1: Now working rows across 1 side edge, join pink with sl st in first st, ch 2, hdc in each st across to center st of next corner, leaving rem sts unworked, turn.
